November 2019: Composer Jennifer Bellor's work "Amethyst Sunset," commissioned, premiered, and recorded by the Niekawa-Shupyatskaya piano duo, is released by Innova Recordings as part of Bellor's album Reflections at Dusk. Bellor's single "Crystalline," also commissioned, premiered, and recorded by the duo is released on CD Baby. Both works are available on Spotify. The duo was thrilled to be joined by percussionists Hannah Weaver and Kyle Peters for the recordings.

Fall 2019: Excited to join the UMKC Conservatory Academy and the Music Academy of Kansas City as a piano instructor, as well as the UMKC Conservatory as an adjunct faculty member, working with graduate voice majors. Please see Schedule tab for upcoming concerts this season!

July 20, 2016: Join Olga at the Eastman School in Rochester, NY for a taste of alternative programming and interdisciplinary collaboration. Joined by other musicians, she will present a faculty recital which will include a premiere of a new work, an original rock set, works for two pianos, and songs for baritone and piano. June 2015: Accepted a visiting faculty position at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs for the fall semester of 2015! Continuing to serve as a faculty member of the Eastman Community Music School concurrently. 

1/20/2015: After a particularly busy fall and having completed the Doctorate at the Eastman School of Music in December, gearing up for spring concerts in Rochester, Texas, and Binghamton, along with cooking up some exciting new projects with her collaborative partner, baritone Nicholas Wiggins.
